Licence free radio, otherwise known as PMR446 superseded Short Range Business Radio [SRBR] and now offers low cost mobile communications to leisure and business users. Once the preserve of the military, emergency and security services PMR446 is ideal for use in garden centres, catering establishments, factories and offices. In addition more and more people are finding that licence free radio is ideal for many leisure activities from skiing and rambling to camping and even for motorcyclists to stay in touch with each other whilst out on the road.
