The HYT TC518 series showcases a number of key benefits, such as its small size and power off by software. Features include:
- Single Handed Operation
Unlike many radios, the TC-518 series can be operated using one hand with the addition of a combined PTT button and volume knob. - User Friendly Volume Adjustment
The volume is divided into several levels which are vocally marked. This enables the user to select a suitable volume in accordance with the environment they are communicating in. - Wide-Band Coverage
Enables the TC-518 series to be compatible with another radio working within a narrow frequency band.
Other features include: High/low power switchable, programmable channel spacing, monitor, battery save, low battery alert, busy channel lockout, TOT, CTCSS/CDCSS encode/decode, squelch tail elimination, selectable squelch level (0-9), channel scan, PC programmable, wide clone, PTT ID, volume compander and VOX.
Supplied with: Charger, belt clip, strap, antenna, 1100mAh Li-Ion battery, switching power and user manual.
