Tait Orca 5000 Series Compact Portable Radio
General Model Information
The Tait Orca 5000 series is a flexible, dependable and rugged portable radio. Designed for users who are constantly on the move and require a reliable communications system. the Orca 5000 series is suitable for office or on site use.
The radio is built to MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F environmental standards to ensure the radio is durable and with a range of styles and frequencies (see below), it can meet your needs more effectively.
Standard Features include:
- Remote stun and revive
Provides additional security if the radio is stolen or lost. - One touch call
Communicating becomes quicker and more efficient with this function. - Emergency mode
Increases security by sending out an alarm at the touch of a button to a pre-defined group of people to warn of a danger.
Other features include: Handset operation, IP54 (splash resistant), Lone Worker, programmable channel spacing and power saving modes.
The radio comes in conventional and trunked variants (please select below) for additional flexibility. Trunked versions are MPT1327 compliant and include various additional features (however exclude certain standard features listed above). The Orca 5000 series is also available in an intrinsically safe option.
Please note, the Orca 5000 does not comes with battery, charger or antenna. Please see below for a list of compatible accessories.
