General Model Information
The Yaesu Vertex/Standard VX-4100E series mobile radios are reliable and versatile, all of which are important essentials for public safety and industry. The VX-4100E series are also rugged, built to MIL STD 810 C/D/E meaning they can be used in a variety of tough environments where they are exposed to dust, vibration and extreme temperatures.
Available in a variety of style and frequency alternatives.

- Programmable Keys
With a minimum of 3 programmable keys, the VX-4100E series can be customised to your needs. - Large Channel Capacity
The VX-4100E series boasts up to 501 channels assignable in up to 32 groups. There are no restrictions into how many channels may be assigned into groups, which gives users complete flexibility. - Direct Channel Access
Despite the large channel capacity, Yaesu Vertex/Standard realise that many users primarily use a few channels for primary opening slots. The VX-4100E series provides the ability to assign programmable keys to (up to) 4 direct channel access keys, making communicating easier.
Other features include: Wide bandwidth, wide/narrow (12.5/20/25 kHz per channel), audio companding, loud audio output front speaker, 2-tone BNC, decode functions, built-in 5-tone signalling, remote stun/kill/revive, voice storage*, programmable minimum volume, versatile scanning features, ARTS (Auto Range Transponder System), emergency mode, voice encryption modules*, D-SUB 15 pin accessory connector, TOT, BCLO, BTLO and radio clone feature.
