General Model Information
The Tait TM8000 series mobile radios provide maximum control whilst on the move. From basic 10 channel conventional mobiles, to comprehensive public safety solutions, the TM8000 series offers a perfect solution for those seeking a feature rich and versatile voice and data application. Ideal for companies who are based in transport, government, emergency services and system integrators among many more.
Standard features include:
- Reliable and tough
Built to MIL STD 810 C/D/E/F, the mobile radios can withstand shock, dust and vibration. They are also IP54 rated to provide an additional level of protection. - Data ready
The mobile radios can be used with a range of 3rd party equipment and can be integrated into larger systems with ease. With a built-in GPS direct connect feature and FFSK* modem, the series enables a GPS receiver to be plugged in which reduces the need for additional equipment. - Flexible
The series can be set up to connect the way that you want. There are many configurable option boards and ports with fast transmit times and various other performance features meaning the mobile radios can be integrated into other systems with ease.
*Optional extras.
Other features include: Up to 1500 channels, built-in CTCSS/DCS, Selcall, DTMF encoder, emergency mode stun and revive, various power levels, AVL/GPS software support, programmable I/O, audio tap points, voice inversion scrambling, Windows based programming application, 3 mute settings/control signal outputs and system/channel activity monitoring.
