General Model Information
The Tait TM8000 CB series mobile radios provide maximum control whilst on the move, for those seeking a feature rich and versatile voice and data application. With 2 radio bodies, the series allows users to transmit and receive simultaneously on 2 frequency bands. Ideal for companies who are based in transport, government, emergency services and system integrators among many more.
Standard features include:
- Cross Band
With 2 radio bodies (which can be mounted away into a single radio head), allowing users to transmit and receive simultaneously on 2 frequency bands. With a cross band linking feature, users can communicate back to base through a portable radio. - Reliable & tough
Built to MIL STD 810 C/D/E/F, the mobile radios can withstand shock, vibration and dust. They are also IP54 classified to provide an additional level of protection. - LCD Display
With a backlit LCD display, night time operation is made simpler.
Other features include: 1500 conventional channels (per unit), 14 character labelling, 26 zones/channel banks, 300 scanning/voting functions, Selcall, DTMF encoder, GPS/AVL software support, programmable I/O and audio tap points, 3 control signal outputs and Windows based programming.
Supplied with: 2 x 1500 channel conventional radios, keypad mic, 2 x u-cradle installation kit and remote mounted control head.
