The ICOM IC-F1710 is an advanced mobile transceiver series, designed to provide users with a high-grade mobile with an array of attractive features. The series is renowned for being durable, (MIL STD 810) reliable and multi-function radios.

Standard features include:
- In-built inversion scrambler
The series boasts a scrambler which heightens security when communicating by encoding messages sent, which are then decoded by the recipient radio. - Detachable front panel
With an optional remote control kit, separation cable and RMK-2, the front panel of the radio can be detached from the main unit allowing you to flexibly install, even in small spaces. - Programmable buttons
Assigns functions to buttons, meaning users have easier access.
Other features include: Built-in multiple tone signallings (CTCSS, DTCS, 2-tone, 5-tone, DTMF and BIIS), large LCD display, tactical group function, 256 memory channels, tone signalling, Public Address (PA), RX speaker and built-in audio compander.
Supplied with: Hand microphone, spare fuse, microphone hanger kit, DC power cable and external speaker.
