ICOM IC-F5022 Series Mobile Radio
General Model Information
The ICOM IC-F5022 series retains the features from its predecessor (IC-F110 series), while providing additional functionality found on more expensive radio communications equipment, making it suitable for a variety of markets including security, transport and agriculture. Built to MIL-STD 810F, the IC-F5022 series is heavy duty making it suitable for use in a range of environments.
Features include:
- Programmable Buttons
Including a pair of up/down and PO-P3 function assignable buttons, helping you to customise the IC-F5022 series to meet your specific needs. - Radio Kill/Stun/Revive
Users have the ability to disable a lost or stolen radio over the air which eliminates any security threats. When the stun command is received, all functions are temporarily locked out until the revive command is received or the unlock password is entered. - Lone Worker
Provides an additional level of security for users who work alone. When the radio is not operated for a pre-set period of time, the radio sounds a beep which can be deactivated with the touch of a button. If this does not happen, the IC-F5022 series sounds an emergency signal which transmits to a pre-programmed person/group.
Other features include: 128 memory channels, front mounted speaker, 2-tone, 5-tone, CTCSS, DTCS, PTT ID, quiet standby, CTCSS/DTCS high speed decode, MDC 1200 compatible, multiple 2-tone/5-tone, mode dependent scan, Tx channel, Talk back, wide frequency coverage, internal units*, external memory channel control, BIIS 1200 PTT ID transmission, microphone hanger action programmable, wide/middle/narrow channel spacing, TOT (Time Out Timer), power-on password, nuisance delete function and embedded ESN.
