ICOM IC-E208 Dual Band Mobile Radio

The ICOM IC-E208 is a reliable, stylish and compact mobile radio with dual band capabilities. It has a number of outstanding functions including a detachable controller head and a selectable amber/green/yellow display and increased output power.

Features include:

• Switchable VHF/UHF frequencies
  With dual band capabilities, users can switch between VHF and UHF frequencies via the simple band switching system. It is also a wideband receiver, covering 118-173, 230-549 and 810-999MHz.
• User friendly design
  Unlike many mobile radios, the IC-E208 has a large multi-function tuning knob which provides band hopping and intuitive channel tuning. The display (with a fun multi-coloured function) allows usage of the radio in poor light conditions.
• Selectable squelch
  With a selectable squelch attenuator, the IC-E208 reduces interference from nearby strong signals.

Other features include: Powerful 55w/50w output power, 500 alphanumeric memory channels, improved DMS (Dynamic Memory Scan) system, in-built CTCSS and DTCS tone squelch, 1750Hz tone capable, 16 DTMF memories, 9600bps data connecter, pocket beep, tone scan, selectable squelch delay and FM narrow capable.
