General Model Information
The Motorola CM series is one of the smallest ranges of mobile radios on the market. It is robust and rugged to provide users with quality communication that won't let you down. The CM series has a range of simple and sophisticated mobile radios in both VHF and UHF frequency alternatives, providing you with a customised budget solution.
Standard features include:
- Continuous communication
With the 'repeater talkaround' feature, users can stay in touch even when the radio repeater in the area stops working or is beyond range. This feature is particularly useful for users who operate on areas where electricty supplies are unreliable. - Installation versatility
The CM series is DNI-mountable, with many other mounting options. To protect against theft, there is a removable slide mount which allows quick access to the mobile radio to encourage removal when not in use. - User protection
With an 'emergency mode' button, users can alert colleagues that assistance is required quickly.
Other features include: Nuisance channel delete, monitor, system scan, minimum of 8 channels, BNC antenna connector, internal loudspeaker, 3 status LED's, minimum of 2 programmable buttons, programmable channel spacing, adjustable power levels, X-Pand voice compression, DTMF encode capable, channel scan, busy channel lockout, PTT ID, VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) and Talkaround.
