ICOM IC-M87 VHF Portable Submersible Marine Radio

The ICOM IC-M87 is a high class business VHF portable marine radio, meaning it meets both simple Private Business Radio (PBR)  and marine applications. At the push of a button, users can switch from operating bands between PBR and marine channels. The radio is also tough, having been built to MIL-STD 810 standards.

One of the many benefits of the radio is its easy to read and large controls, which have been carefully designed to ensure even users who wear gloves can use the radio effectively. It also boasts a large LCD display which is backlit, making communicating in poor light conditions possible.

Features include:

• Submersible
  Built to IPX7 standards, the radio can be submersed into 1m of water for up to 30 minutes.
• Powerful output power
  Boasting 5 watts of output power, the radio allows reliable communications, even over long distances. If this is not necessary, you can reduce the output power to 1-3 watts.

Other features include: Up/down switches, key lock, self check, battery indicator, power saver, auto scan function, monitor button, TAG scanning operation and instant access to channel 16 and call channel.

Supplied with: Li-Ion battery, swivel belt clip, battery charger, AC adapter, handstrap and antenna.
