ICOM IC-GM1600E VHF Portable GMDSS Survival Craft Radio
The ICOM IC-GM1600E is engineered to function and survive the toughest of conditions within a marine environment. The radio can withstand shock, temperature, vibration and drop hazards. It also boasts Search and Rescue technology to aid in marine emergencies.
The radio also meets 'wheel mark' MED certification and features the most advanced level of GMDSS technology, meaning safety is paramount at all times.
Features include:
- Submersible (IPX7)
Waterproof for up to 1m in 30 minutes. The radio also boasrs a 'speed water removal' function that removes moisture away from the speakers, ensuring audio is always crisp and clear. - Easy operation
With a large keypad and an LCD display with a wide viewing angle, the radio is easy to operate, even for users who wear gloves. With operation instructions printed on the back of the panel, unskilled operators can communicate with ease.
Other features include: VOX* and one touch access to channel 16 and programmable call channels.
