ICOM IC-R5 Air Band Portable Radio
The ICOM IC-R5 air band radio combines a portable communications system with powerful specifications and a range of outstanding features. The main advantage of the IC-R5 is the fact that it is wideband, meaning it provides users with flexibility.
Features include:
- Computer programmable
With software* and cable*, channel names and scan lists can be customised using computer programming. - LCD backlight with timer
A combination of a large LCD display and backlight means the radio can be used in poor light conditions, even on night flights.
Other features include: Reversible down/up buttons, priority watch function, beep alert, auto memory, automatic power off timer, built-in attenuator, power save feature, FM earphone cord antenna capable and built-in ferrite bar antenna for AM broadcast.
