ICOM IC-M801 Series MF/HF Mobile Marine Radio
General Model Information
The ICOM IC-M801 series is available in two different options. The IC-M801E comes with Class E DSC operation and is for use with non-SOLAS vessels. The IC-M801GMDSS has Class A DSC operation which meets both the GMDSS and MED 96/98/EC "wheel mark" standards for SOLAS regulated vessels.

Standard features include:
- Large LCD display
The display illustrates channel names or frequencies. It features a contrast and dimmer function which can be adjusted to 10 different levels to suit different light conditions. - Powerful output power
Boasting 125w of transmission power, the mobile radio performs effectively even when you are communicating long distance. The radio is constructed using a large aluminium chassis which keeps the radio at a low temperature, even during high duty cycles.
Other features include: Industry standard remote controller, digital signal processing, automatic antenna tuner, 1195 channels and email capable.
