ICOM IC-F51 Series I.S Submersible Portable Radio
General Model Information
The ICOM IC-F51 series are tough (MIL STD) intrinsically safe (ATEX approved: II2G EEx Ib IIA T3) radios which can be used in a variety of hazardous environments. The radios are also submersible (IP57 standard) in 1m depth for up to 30 minutes. They boast a rough aluminium die-cast compact chassis and can comfortably sit in a shirt pocket or the palm of your hand. Te radios also boast an alphanumeric LCD, making functions ever easier to operate.
Features include:
- Programmable buttons
With 7 programmable buttons, users can benefit from easier access to functions. - Voice scrambler
Ensure dangers of eavesdropping is minimal. Any messages transmitted are encoded and then only decoded by the intended recipient radio.
Other features include: Built-in signalling, narrow/middle/wide channel spacing, built-in compander, SMA type ANT connector, up to 128 memory channels, 8 memory banks and BIIS 1200 built-in.
Supplied with: Antenna, battery pack and belt clip.
