HYT HC700Ex I.S Portable VHF Radio
General Model Information
The HYT TC700Ex series is an outstanding radio which comes with Man-Down as a standard feature. This allows users to be alerted when a radio in the network has been laying both horizontally or vertically for a certain period. The radio is intrinsically safe (ATEX approved: grade II 2G EEx ib IIB T3 and II 2D Ex tD A21 IP64 T160C) and splash resistant (IP54) to allow use in various hazardous and testing environments. It is also built to MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F environmental standards.
Features include:
- Built-in scrambler
Increases security by manipulating data sent, which is then interpreted by the intended receiving radio. - High audio quality
With a loud speaker volume and vigorous audio output, high quality communication can still be achieved in noisy environments. - Battery power indicator
Allows users to be aware of when the battery needs charging. Increases efficiency and encourages optimum battery performance.
Other features include: Auto contact, rental hire timer, safety check, emergency siren, power on self-test, embedded message and serial number, 16 channels, whisper, channel annunciation, lone worker, VOX, emergency call function and communication range alert.
