General Model Information
The Motorola GP I.S portable series are a group of popular radios which provide an unobtrusive method of keeping members of a team in contact. The main benefit of the series is its ability to grow with your business, as various option boards are available.
All radios are intrinsically safe (ATEX approved) to 2G EEx Ib T4 standard, meaning they can be used in potentially hazardous environments.
The series comes in a range of frequency and style options (please select below).
Standard features include:
- VOX
Users can benefit from voice operated transmission, encouraging hands free communications. - X-Pand voice compression
Compresses your voice during transmission, reducing noise levels in progress. Your voice is then expanded at the other end.
Other features include: Emergency signalling, fixed channel spacing, 3 side buttons, 16 position rotary with stop, whisper, channel scan and Talkaround.

This version of the GP340 has the added advantage of not needing a carry case to use in hazardous environments.
The radio comes with additional dust protection (II 2D Ex tD A21 IP6x ib D21 T110.
Supplied with: ATEX Li-Ion battery, belt clip, dust cover kit, CD user guide and safety leaflet.
Operates on VHF frequencies 136-174MHz.
