General Model Information
The Kenwood NX-200 series digital radios are designed to provide superior communication solutions for private enterprises. The series boasts NEXEDGE technology, which extends the life of current radio system assets, as well as providing the following benefits:

Kenwood understand that upgrading your communication systems can be an expensive task. Therefore NEXEDGE technology is compatible with analogue radios meaning you can gradually migrate to suit your budgetary needs. - Outstanding audio quality
NEXEDGE technology boasts AMBE+2 Vocoder, which is a state of the art voice compression technology, providing superior audio quality constantly. - Secure privacy
Boasting NXDN data and voice scrambling, the technology protects against external threats to your communication system.

The series is available as a basic model, or with an optional 12 button keypad. It is also supplied in either VHF and UHF frequencies. Please select your option from below.
Standard features include:
- Digital conventional/trunking mode
The series can switch between conventional (offering 63 radio access numbers, mixed FM/digital operation and individual/group selective call) to trunked (offering individual private/group call, late entry, remote group add, etc) at the touch of a button. - VOX
With the use of an appropriate headset (not supplied), the series benefits from voice automated speech, meaning you can benefit from hands-free communications. - LCD display
With a backlit LCD display, users can benefit from excellent visibility, even in poor light conditions.
Other features include: 5w audio power, status/function LCD icons, RSSI indicator, date and time, 2 side PF buttons, easy option port, Flash Firmware Upgrading, IP54/IP55 protection against dust and water, MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F, emergency call and on/off volume knob.
