The ICOM IC-F5062 is a revolutionary digital mobile radio series, with the addition of IDAS (ICOM Digital Advance System) which provides the following benefits to business users:

• Analogue/digital compatibility
  Replacing a whole communication system can be costly. The IC-F5062 series has the ability to work with both analogue and digital radios, meaning you can gradually migrate over a period of time.
• 6.25kHz channel spacing
  Double the amount of users can operate on a single radio channel.

The ICOM IC-F5062 digital mobile series is a versatile communications system, with a range of frequency options and accessories to meet your business needs. The mobile radio is built to a high standard with a solid die-cast chassis to resist vibration and shock.

Features include:

• Voice scrambler
  Increases security by encoding messages sent, which are then decoded by the intended recipient radio.
• Lone worker
  This feature enhances personal safety by sounding a beep after the radio has been inactive for a preset period of time which can be disabled by pressing a button. If not pressed, the radio transmits an alarm to other radios to alert of a possible danger.

Other features include: Improved voting, eScalating alarm, detachable front panel, front mounted loud speaker, 512 memory channels, multiple signalling, BIIS 1200 compatible, enhanced scanning, multiple 2/5 tone signalling and talk back function.
