Barrett 2040 HF Tactical Manpack Transceiver
The Barrett 2040 is a durable and tough high frequency tactical manpack transceiver, built to MIL STD and IP67 standards. The transceiver is easy to configure with several options: Windows based programming, or wirelessly through the IrDA port. The transceiver is a lightweight communications solution, weighing just 6.4kg.
Features include:
- Frequency hopping
The easy to use and unique frequency hopping system doesn't need any central synchronisation station and can hop at 5 channels a second, using a 10 digit hopping encryption key. - Secure call
A narrow band voice encryption which is simple to use. - Select call
Comes with 4 and 6 digit calling facilities, including SMS, GPS position and Telcall.
Other features include: Extended operation time, 500 channels, USB/LSB/CWAM, scanning, front panel programming, GPS, SMS messaging, automatic antenna tuner, data capabilities and digital crypto handsets.
Supplied with: HF transceiver, manpack adaptor unit, Li-Ion battery cartridge, collapsible 3m whip, emergency long wire antenna, waterproof microphone/speaker, universal AC/DC power supply and user manual.
