Vertex Launch Price Busting Portable Radio

New from Vertex Standard comes the VX-230 series, a compact, lightweight rugged [meets MIL STD 810 F] portable radio available in both UHF and VHF frequency bands. The big news is the price. At only £115.00 this is the lowest cost professional radio available in the UK with this level of specification. The radio comes complete with antenna, belt clip and battery charger plus a high capacity NiMH battery. A lithium-ion battery is available as an option.

The VX-230 series has 16 channels, 2 programmable side buttons, dynamic transmit power control, CTCSS/DCS and 5 tone encode/decode. It also has built in lone worker, scan features and ARTS [Automatic Range Transpond System].
