New Wireless PA System Saves Thousands

In this application a major UK based aerospace manufacturer required their central control room to have the ability to broadcast safety and other critical messages to their workforce located at 13 sites across a city.

The solution proposed by BCL would enable the customer to reuse all the existing on site PA equipment but replace expensive and vulnerable landlines with a high secure radio based solution.

A significant reduction in landline costs, greater security and more effective control of company generated PA messages is the result.

At the heart of the system is a Tait TB7100 UHF repeater operated via an AWC desktop controller with Brabourne bespoke operating software to allow the operator to select individual sites or all sites for broadcast.

Brabourne chose the Tait TM8105 100 channel 25 Watt data radio for the remote sites to provide the interface between the central control point and the customers existing legacy site PA system.

This application demonstrates how BCL provides bespoke solutions using commercial off the shelf products to meet our customers exacting requirements.
