The Model 745 Systems Teleconnect is Zetron’s most advanced telephone interconnect and system manager designed primarily for operation in Europe. The Model 745 allows radios fitted with 5-tone (ZVEI, CCIR, EEA, DZVEI) encode and decode to place and receive telephone calls. The Systems Teleconnect is equipped with a wide range of standard features including direct 5-tone to telephone number translation, group calling, and reset sequence to close mobiles at the end of a call. The Model 745 (Enhanced) is able to recognize an emergency call setup sequence at any time, even when it is already in a call. Normal calls in progress will be terminated to enable the emergency call. The Model 745 (Enhanced) supports “mandown” emergency operation to summon assistance to lone workers in emergencies. When a mandown call is made, either by the user or automatically by the radio, the portable or mobile goes into a defined cycle of “transmit-receive-transmit-receive” for programmable durations. During this cyclical emergency call, the microphone gain is increased giving hands-free operation.
