Not only are the HT820 and HT880 approved to UL Intrinsically Safe certification regulations but these radios are also submersible and incredibly tough. Built to MIL STDS810 C/D/E, submersible to JIS7 and ATEX approved to EEx ib IIC T3. The radios are available in VHF [148-174MHz and UHF [438-470MHz] and both have a powerful 4 watts of Tx power.
